[He hums as one of the cats jumps up onto his shoulders, reaching up to pat her on the head as she nips at the feather earring dangling from one of his ears.]

[That's when the bell on the door rings, and another customer walks through the door. He pulls himself back up.]

[He reaches into his back pocket to pull out the flyer for tonight's show. He already knows the address, but it has the time he'll be performing on it too.]
[The building is packed and LOUD. It always is, though- it's a popular place. The drinks are strong, the bodies are moving, and everyone seems to be having a good time.
One would maybe question... where is the band? The stage is pretty devoid of instruments. There's just Forte. At least until he introduces himself and begins, mic materializing out of thin air, along with a guitar. And upon his first strum of the cords, the base, drums, and other instruments materialize from the void, too.
There's whispers that while they look unmanned, Forte is actually the one playing them- he's playing them all. Amp It Up- though it's mostly rumors, no one is really sure how it works, except for the fact that Forte appears in control of it all. From the very first song, his music is explosive. A mix between rock and heavy metal, the lyrics are raw while the music washes over the din of bodies. Forte himself, though, seems fully alive on stage, singing with his entire being while working the audience up.]
[Aphelion gets caught up before the show chatting with a couple classmates who followed him there from his earlier social media post, but as soon as Forte takes the stage he makes his excuses to (politely) get rid of them. They can socialize during school hours, tonight is for himself.
He's followed Forte's music with some interest ever since he learned that Forte was a musician, but this is the first time he's had a chance to attend one of Forte's live shows. And Aphelion is so, so glad that he took the chance to do it because Forte in recordings is great, but Forte live is amazing.
It's so worth the pile of work he's going to have to catch up on, and the hell that is going to be brunch with his parents tomorrow after staying out late tonight.]
[He spots Aphelion eventually in the audience while singing at some point. He did come after all... which makes him feel pretty damn glad. Chugging a beer that's been passed up to him, he crushes that with his foot once empty, before moving onto a short interlude- where he's supposed to give some 'prizes' away.
He invites two girls up who dance and get some merch for their efforts. Others, he tosses some t-shirts into the audience for- it's all just merchandise that advertises the venue-
He tosses a couple of cans of beer out to those near the front to catch before placing one atop Aphelion's head. He can have one too.]
[In addition to dropping his stuff at home before the show, Aphelion took the opportunity to change into something a little more appropriate for the occasion. Gone are the preppy clean-cut law student clothes that Forte's used to seeing him in. Now he's wear black jeans and a dark v-neck t-shirt under a worn leather jacket. His hair is more disheveled than usual from the crowd, but still falls perfectly over his face.
He looks hot, is what I'm saying.
And Forte placing a can of beer on his head surprises a laugh out of him, before he looks Forte dead in the eye, takes it off his head, cracks it open, and takes a long pull from it, without breaking eye contact.]
[He wasn't expecting that. He watches with some surprise as Aphelion meets his gaze like a challenge and downs the beer.
. . . Fuck. He's really cool like this actually?? Not that there's anything wrong with his normal look and attitude. But it's a side of him that he hasn't really seen before.]
[Fuck yeah. Pumped up and ready for round two, he plucks another beer for himself, and takes a long drink before a guitar materializes in his hands once more.]
ALRIGHT-! Enough with all the chitchat, losers! Let's get back to the music! ♪
[His fingers drag across the guitar and he blasts into the next song. He'll pull Aphelion into his antics a couple more times though before the end of the night.]
[Aphelion plays along good-naturedly. No doubt Forte's fans will be speculating about who he is and why Forte is dragging him into the spotlight so much tomorrow--Aphelion's not vain, but he knows his looks draw people's attention. but if ridiculous speculation brings Forte a little extra publicity, Aphelion won't complain.]
[Forte doesn't seem to notice if people are questioning it. He simply enjoys himself to the end.
When it is time to finish, he's pretty exhausted but in good spirits. Playing a show can take a lot out of someone. Playing every instrument in the show is a different sort of draining, but hey- it's his specialty and what makes him hirable. He's glad to see that Aphelion stayed to the end, though. He knows he's got a lot of work, so he hadn't known if he would.
