[Day 214] Round 3
The vision opens on a dark stadium. In the center floats a circular stage, reminiscent of planetary rings.
A large screen flashes two portraits next to each other. One is obviously a younger, teenage Moray. The other is a teenage boy with shoulder-length brown hair. The word VS between the portraits makes it clear that this is a competition.
As the intro plays, two figures rise up onto the stage. One is Moray, the same age as he is now, and the other is the brown-haired boy, now around the same age as Moray. Throughout the performance, they technically take turns singing a rock ballad about yearning and unrequited love. Moray's performance totally blows his opponent's out of the water.
After the song, the large screen overhead flashes their scores: 90 vs. 68. Moray wins.
As soon as the winner is announced, guards in white armor enter the stage and shoot Moray's opponent dead. Moray watches expressionlessly as blood pools over the planetary rings, floating cameras swooping in for a close-up.
Throughout the performance, there are a two translucent eggs floating to one side of the stage. One of them contains a girl in a black dress with long pink hair, huddled listlessly on her chair. The other contains someone who looks exactly like Forte, slumped unconscious with his hands behind his back and a white collar-gag around his mouth. He rouses briefly partway through the performance, before falling unconscious again.

- If anyone remembers Moray singing karaoke back at the pool party, his performance here is the complete opposite. His vocal control and emotional expression are way better, and he knows how to play to the crowd. It's like he had a decade+ of training in vocal performance for a life-or-death singing competition or something.
- Moray doesn't remember any of the flashbacks from the video (except for being dangled off the roof, which he got in a separate memory regain). He does remember that he was singing this song to/for a specific person—but he doesn't remember who that person is. (It was Till.)
- From the stage, the crowd can't be seen very clearly. All Moray can tell is that it was very large and loud. Maybe some were wearing strange hats?? He can't tell definitively that they were mostly aliens and not human.
